Air Receiver Inspections

The Inspection and maintenance of pressure vessels (air receivers) is critical for occupational health and safety ensuring your businesses complies with legislative requirements.

If your business utilises an operational pressure vessel it is your responsibility to ensure its maintenance and upkeep.

Pressure vessels that neglect inspections are at risk of failing by explosion, causing injury or death. A further risk of a non-compliant pressure vessel may void your insurance policy.

DEA Services facilitates routine inspection by qualified personnel that comply with Australia legislative framework AS3788.

A pressure vessel requires inspection intervals of:

  • External inspection every 2 years
  • Internal inspection every 4 years

Upon installation, pressure vessels are to be registered with WorkSafe. If the vessel is relocated this must again be re-registered with WorkSafe.
